The Queen of Dirty Pop is here.... Urban London’s new heroine, Italian/British female artist 'Charlean Dance', is a young DJ, singer and songwriter credited with spearheading the UK’s hottest new genre, Dirty Pop.

At street level, ‘Mr DJ’ is well-known as one of the leading dirty pop anthems, and after some intense bidding between a number of labels it was signed to Positiva for a full commercial release - released 10th September 2007.

Charlean's second single is set to be released beginning of 2008. Charlean’s been a dedicated songwriter since an early age, and her background as a leading DJ, spinning a slick mix of Dirty Pop, RnB, Ragga, Hip-Hop, Garage, and Funky House was the reasoning behind her name. Charlean is currently working on her Dirty Pop album, packed full of head-bopping beats and smooth melodies.
